The Mystic Majestic Ydwer 2024 Harness is named after Ydwer van der Heide, who you probably know from works like the book Unseen. A few years ago, Ydwer had a serious surfing accident that turned his life upside down because he could no longer move his hands and legs. Ydwer is one of the most esteemed photographers in the kite-surfing industry, and as a tribute to him, this harness was designed.

The Mystic Majestic Ydwer 2024 is otherwise exactly the same as what you're used to from the Majestic series. For 2024, the Bionic Core Frame is back. This frame is rigid in the horizontal direction while still allowing rotation to follow your body for maximum freedom of movement. The frame is made of Raven composite to enhance stiffness, distributing the kite's power across the entire back. By distributing the power so effectively across the back, you can ride more comfortably in stronger winds and use those extra knots to go confidently for that personal height record. The edges around the frame are made of soft neoprene to prevent rashes and chafing, providing a snug and comfortable fit. The inside of the harness is covered with Fix Foam, a type of foam that fully adapts to your lower body to offer maximum comfort while practicing your tricks.

The spreader bar (sold separately) for the Mystic Majestic Ydwer 2024 can be adjusted using four straps. Any excess from the straps after adjustment can be hidden in the flex covers to prevent flapping during kitesurfing. These flex covers are neoprene covers with a unique locking mechanism to ensure everything stays tucked away. One of the four straps features the secure adaptive leash eye 2.0. Thanks to this leash attachment, you can fasten your leash at the front of the harness to always have the leash safety within reach should anything go wrong. There's also an integrated side pocket for your safety knife, ensuring you can always rescue yourself in a tricky situation.
