North launches the second version of its freestyle kiteboard - the North Flare 2021. Used, abused, and thoroughly tested by shredders like Tom Bridge. It will immediately catch your eye: no inserts for a grab handle, a substantial rocker, and a grind base. There can be no doubt about what the North Flare 2021 is capable of: solid freestyle action. Here's what Tom Bridge has to say about the new North Flare 2021: "For me, freestyle is everything, it's everything - an expression of myself. I don't follow rules. I ride the Flare.". However, you certainly don't have to be Tom Bridge to enjoy the North Flare. The Flare 2021 rides super smoothly and is very forgiving.

For the 2nd generation of the Flare kiteboard, North has refined small details and given the kiteboard a fresh look. The higher rocker on the Flare 2021 does a great job breaking the water surface, ensuring soft landings when you come down hard from a high pop. An additional benefit is that you can cruise effortlessly over chop and waves. Despite the higher rocker of the Flare, you immediately feel that the North Flare 2021 easily goes upwind. This is due to the quad concave that transitions into quad tip channels. This bottom shape of the North Flare 2021, combined with the tip channels, provides you with tremendous grip. The North Flare 2021 has so-called pressflex tips. These tips are slightly softer, so they absorb chop and landings exceptionally well. The North Flare 2021 has a P-Tex grind base. This makes the bottom of the North Flare very robust, allowing you to cross a sandbank without worrying.

The Flare 2021 has a paulownia wood core surrounded by layers of e-glass laminate. This ensures a balanced flex/stiffness ratio throughout the entire kiteboard. The North Flare 2021 is available in four sizes: 139x41cm, 143x42cm, 147x43cm, 151x43cm. For extra performance, you can ride the North Flare with boots.
