The Slingshot Misfit V11 is made of an Atomic wood core. This Paulownia wooden core ensures that the kiteboard has a playful feel and ensures that 'springy' character that Slingshot's kiteboards are known for. The wood is vertically laminated, which not only makes the kiteboard stronger, but it also gives the Misfit V11 a more consistent pop and flex. The Dura-Light base of the Misfit V10 2022 is the .2mm base material which has the ideal weight to strength ratio. As a result, this twin tip delivers the best lightweight performance in a strong and durable package. At the bottom of the Slingshot Misfit V11 are Nava Tech Channels. These channels send the water to the tail in a special way, so that the Slingshot Misfit builds up more speed and has more grip. The Koroys tip and tail provide a lighter and even more responsive ride with more flex compared to a full wood core. The Concave Hull is a bottom contour that ensures that the kiteboard remains predictable and easily comes up against the wind.

Slingshot uses the same technology found in Urethane skateboard wheels. Thanks to an innovative manufacturing method, the rail is literally cast into the kiteboard, so that the kiteboard not only sails super comfortable, but can also take a beating. The inserts of the Slingshot Misfit are super strong and light carbon bedrock inserts, one of the strongest inserts on the market. These flexible, light, durable inserts ensure that the kiteboard retains sufficient flex under the feet and offers a reliable feeling from front to back.
