The Slingshot RPM is a kite that has dominated the freestyle kiteboarding world for years. One kitesurfer after another has become freestyle world champion with it. Youri Zoon was the first to become world champion with the Slingshot RPM shortly after the kite’s introduction. Nowadays, Carlos Mario rips with the RPM and has become world champion multiple times in recent years. It’s no surprise that the RPM can be classified as a kite with a freestyle character. The Slingshot RPM features an open C kite design. This design gives the kite a great freestyle character with thick slack and high pop. It also provides hangtime and pull for gigantic kiteloops. The Slingshot RPM uses a pulley IRS bridle system, making the kite feel stable and slightly expanding the wind range. The Slingshot RPM has a lightweight but strong 3-strut system with Splitstrut technology. You ride the RPM on four lines.
Slingshot RPX kite
The Slingshot RPX V1 2021 kite is the evolution of the legendary Slingshot RPM. The first version of the RPX is super versatile: freeride, freestyle, big air, and kiteloops! The open C design ensures a direct kite with fine feedback, quickly giving you the confidence to push your limits with the Slingshot RPX V1. Compared to the RPM, the Slingshot RPX V1 has many upgrades to make the kite even more versatile and user-friendly. The RPX is 10% lighter than the RPM. Whether it’s your first backrolls, downloops, megaloops, or raleys, the Slingshot Code V1 handles them with ease! With a new lightweight dacron combined with a hybrid open-C construction, the Code delivers excellent flight characteristics. The open design provides a wide wind range, while the pulley-less bridles offer a direct feel with the kite. Slingshot Machine Kite
The Slingshot Machine is the powerhouse of Slingshot. This dedicated 5-strut big air kite is built for maximum hangtime and lofty jumps. The 5-strut profile ensures the kite maintains its shape well in strong winds. So, regardless of the conditions, the Slingshot Machine will remain super stable in the air, giving you all the confidence to get the most out of your session. The Machine is a kite with a hybrid Open-C canopy that provides maximum hangtime and easy boosting. The kite's fabric is made from Teijin 4X4 reinforced ripstop nylon, one of the strongest, stiffest, and most durable canopies on the market. Thanks to the pulley-less bridles, the Machine feels direct, responding immediately to steering input. You'll also better feel where the kite is in the wind window, ideal for massive megaloops! The Slingshot Machine is flown on four lines.
Slingshot Fuel kite
The Slingshot Fuel is the most legendary kite within Slingshot's kitesurf range. Slingshot has been making the Fuel since 2001. A true hardcore freestyle C-kite machine. A kite for the advanced kitesurfer. But if you can tame this kite, you’ll have a kite you can master and perform incredible tricks with. The Slingshot Fuel is most famous thanks to 'master of extreme' Ruben Lenten. With the Slingshot Fuel, Ruben Lenten invented the kiteloop, a trick for which entire competitions are now held, such as the Megaloop Challenge. The Slingshot Fuel has a traditional C-shape design with wide and square tips that ensure powerful performance. The Slingshot Fuel has a strong 5-strut profile and is flown on 5 lines.
Slingshot SST Kite
The Slingshot SST is the wave kite within Slingshot's kite range. This makes the Slingshot SST suitable as a beginner kite as well. The SST is a kite designed to chase the waves. Slingshot has given the SST incredible drift with a lightweight 3-strut design and special wingtips, allowing you to surf endlessly long waves as if you don’t have a kite with you. The SST is always easy to control, even when you fully depower the kite and push the bar away. The bridles ensure a perfect profile in the air and, combined with the wingtips, make the Slingshot SST easy to relaunch. All these characteristics that make the Slingshot SST a great wave kite also make it a popular choice among kitesurfing hydrofoilers. Especially the drift and excellent steering when depowered make the SST a wonderful hydrofoil kite. The Slingshot SST is flown on 4 lines.
Slingshot UFO Kite
The Slingshot UFO is a unique kite thanks to its strutless design. Yes, you heard that right, no struts! The kite is designed for kitefoiling and is also great to use with a wave kiteboard. Thanks to the strutless design, you can fly the UFO in the most bizarre angles within the wind window. The kite is super lightweight, allowing it to stay aloft with the slightest breeze. The fabric is made of 2x2 flyweight material, which has the ideal balance between lightweight and strength. The UFO is perfect for riders looking for a pure foil kite, and whether you're doing tricks like Fred Hope or just cruising around, the UFO will amaze you! With Trimlight bridles and a compact swept C-shape, this is the kite for all your foil adventures.

The Slingshot Rally can be classified as an all-round kite. Everyone who rides the Slingshot Rally will find it enjoyable. Reliable, stable, and with good relaunch capabilities, it’s a great kite for the average kitesurfer. The Rally has a wide wind range and easily rides upwind. If you like to go high and stay in the air for a long time, you'll have a lot of fun with the Slingshot Rally. The Rally has massive hangtime and a smooth, gradual pull into the air. Perfect for backrolls, frontrolls, you name it. The Slingshot Rally has a strong 5-strut profile, so it will maintain its shape well even in strong winds. You fly the Slingshot Rally on 4 lines.
Slingshot Turbine Kite
The Slingshot Turbine is the low-wind version of the Slingshot Rally. The high aspect ratio ensures that the Turbine efficiently handles the wind, resulting in unparalleled performance in light wind conditions. That the Slingshot Turbine is a kite specifically designed for low-wind days is evident from the sizes it’s available in: 13, 15, 17, and 19 meters. If you want to stay in the air as long as possible, just send the Slingshot Turbine up, pull your bar, and off you go. Floating over the water, with plenty of time for a few front- or backrolls. Thanks to the 5-strut design, the Slingshot Turbine always maintains its perfect shape in the air and won't collapse if the wind picks up a bit. Due to the bridle system, the Turbine has excellent depower and will easily relaunch despite its size. You fly the Slingshot Turbine on 4 lines with a low V-split.
Slingshot kite technologie
A good kitesurf kite is not put together just like that. A lot of research and development goes into it. Certain technologies ensure that today's kites are incomparable to those from a few years ago. Slingshot is also not sitting still when it comes to developing techniques that make kites and kitesurfing easier and better. Below you can find the most important techniques that Slingshot uses to give Slingshot kites the most amazing flying characteristics.
Slingshot Lightweight Dacron
At Slingshot, they are continuously testing and researching new materials. Recently, they have developed a new lightweight dacron. This new type of Dacron is used on the leading edge and the struts, making them lighter in weight and stiffer. By doing this, the overall weight of the kite is reduced, and the kite feels much lighter due to the stiffer frame. The lighter dacron is used in the Slingshot Code and the Slingshot Machine Kite.
Slingshot Pulleyless Bridles
The Slingshot pulleyless bridle system replaces the old bridle system with pulleys with a system of fixed bridles. This ensures that there is always the right tension on the lines, giving you a much more direct feel with the kite. The result is that a Slingshot kite with a pulleyless bridle system feels super smooth in the air with a more direct feel than the old pulley system.
Slingshot Kite Fabric
The fabric of Slingshot kites is made in collaboration with Teijin. Teijin is a world leader in the sail and water sports fabric market. Almost every kitesurf brand uses fabric developed in collaboration with Teijin. Only the composition of the fabric differs per brand. Slingshot uses two types of Teijin Ripstop: 4x4 and 2x2. With 4x4 fabric, you have four yarns in the length and width direction, and with 2x2, there are two yarns. In kites like the Slingshot Code and the Slingshot Machine Kite, 4x4 fabric is used. For example, in the Slingshot UFO Kite, 2x2 fabric is used to save weight.
Slingshot SplitStrut Technology
Slingshot also developed the split strut system, a construction where the struts are integrated with the kite fabric. This results in a stronger, more stable, and more durable canopy. The splitstrut system ensures that you can hold your kite longer in stronger winds and higher loads. Additionally, the entire frame is more efficient and much stiffer. SplitStrut is indispensable in the design of today's Slingshot kites. While riding, the split strut technology ensures that the kite is more stable.
Slingshot One-pump System
Slingshot was the first kitesurf brand to come up with a one-pump system in 2005. Nowadays, we can't imagine otherwise, but before the invention of the Slingshot one-pump system, you had to pump up each strut and your leading edge separately. A task that was not easy at all, especially when the wind was blowing hard. Fortunately, with the invention of the one-pump system, you can now pump up your kite completely through one valve.
