Cabrinha significantly upgraded the Moto X last year. This year, the Moto X once again features the lightweight Lite frame, utilizing HTD Lite Dacron and a refined canopy design. The significant weight reduction enhances the overall performance of the kite, making it more responsive.

Cabrinha crafted the Moto X's canopy from Nano Ripstop Canopy. This canopy contains more yarns, enhancing the stiffness and durability of the fabric, providing a more direct feel on the bar. The lines have less stretch to support this more direct feel. Stiff EVA battens are used on the trailing edge to prevent canopy flapping. Durable TPU bumpers are added to protect the leading edge during intense kite crashes.
