The North Atmos Carbon stands for Big Air High Performance and that hasn't changed this year. Whether Nick Jacobsen or Mark Jacobs - these kings swear by the Atmos Carbon. The faster you are, the higher you can jump - so get the Atmos Carbon 2023 and set a new personal record!The Atmos Carbon 2023 is a full carbon board with a Paulownia wood core. The wood core has been shaped to get thinner towards the tips, giving very good control in the middle of the deck and flex in the tips. So, you can pick up a lot of speed and jump high even in choppy waters. DU (Uni Directional) carbon fibers were used to strengthen the board in certain areas, while the deck is completely covered in a carbon layer.
New to this year's Atmos Carbon 2023 are the centered inserts. North has done everyone a big favor with this, who is at a spot where it is flat or where there are stones or shells. Generally, the heel edge always wears out much faster than the toe edge. Thanks to the centered inserts, you can now turn the pads & straps and make your toe edge the new heel edge. This increases the lifespan of your Atmos Carbon 2023 enormously.
On the bottom of the board, the North Atmos Carbon 2023 has a single concave in the center. On landings, the water surface is broken and the water is brought to the tips, where the concave then changes into quad-channel. This gives you softer landings but also very good grip even when kiting in very strong winds, as the channels offer a lot of control.
The average rocker of the Atmos Carbon 2023 ensures that you can easily go upwind and that the board plans well in lighter winds. Due to the carbon finish, the Atmos Carbon is lighter and slightly stiffer than its hybrid brother. This makes the Atmos Carbon 2022 a real high-performance kiteboard to get the most out of you and your session!

For me the best board out there for freeride in high wind and big air. When i touched the board back in 2020 for only 10 seconds i was in love already and still be. The performace you can get from this board is insane. Super fast, more then enough grip, good pop and very easy landing on heel and toe side. My favorite board of all in high winds on straps for 2023! Read more
