Wetsuit Maintenance
Woop Woop, your new wetsuit has arrived! It's eager to dive in with you and conquer those waves. Before we packed your wetsuit, we thoroughly inspected it for any damage. It might have a crease from being folded in the box during transport, but don't worry, this will disappear on its own.
Exchanges or Returns
If the size of your new suit isn't right, you can of course return it to us. We can exchange it for a different size, a different model, or you can get a refund. It's important that the suit hasn't been used.
If the suit is accidentally damaged, you will receive 75% of your purchase price back. This ensures that you always have a well-fitting and undamaged wetsuit to enjoy your surfing adventures. Read below for tips on maintaining your wetsuit.
Be Careful with Mesh Parts
Does your wetsuit have mesh parts? These are the rubber-like sections often found on the chest and back. They are vulnerable to jewelry, nails, and other sharp objects. We recommend being cautious when putting on and taking off your suit and not pulling on these parts. This will prevent the so-called "Nail Nick" damage.
Drying
Hang your wetsuit on a wide wetsuit hanger in the shade to dry. Avoid direct sunlight as UV rays can weaken and discolor the material. It's also important not to let your suit dry inside out, as this can damage the interior.
Storage
Store your wetsuit in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use a wide hanger to prevent creases in the material. If you won't be using the suit for an extended period, it's best to store it flat to prevent the shoulders from stretching.
Happy Kiting!
We hope you have a lot of fun with your new wetsuit. If you have any questions or need advice on using and maintaining your suit, don't hesitate to contact us. Enjoy the waves and happy kiting!
Best regards,
The Kitemana Team
