Pro version of the iconic North Orbit

The North Orbit Pro was introduced in the lineup of North Kiteboarding for the first time last year. At first glance, the North Orbit Pro seems very similar to the original North Orbit, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Orbit Pro is designed with new, better materials and a number of features that together ensure that the Orbit Pro is ready for the most important big air competitions. If you are looking for a pro-performing big air kite that not only provides high jumps but also huge hangtime, kiteloops, and even double loops, then the North Orbit Pro is perfect for you!

Starting with the new material, North Kiteboarding used an N-MAX2 airframe in this second version of the North Orbit Pro. The N-MAX used on the LE and the struts has been further refined and improved to the new N-MAX2 material this year, enhancing the stiffness, durability, and weight of the frame. N-MAX2 is no less than 13% lighter, 5 times more resistant to tears, and stretches 21% less compared to the previously used Dacron material. Thanks to this new material, the North Orbit Pro has received a significant performance boost. The stiff frame ensures that riding overpowered is a breeze. The stability that the kite brings ensures that you always have the confidence to go as big as possible. And we haven't even talked about kiteloops yet.. The new North Orbit Pro responds incredibly directly to your steering impulse, allowing you to easily pull the kite around once or twice. The new material also ensures that the kite is back above you within a split second, so you are quickly caught after your kiteloop. Because the kite climbs back up so quickly after a kiteloop, it is even easy to pull double loops with this 5-strutter. Even if you are just starting with big air, this is an amazing kite. You can easily pull your first smaller loops without too much pull, quickly gaining the confidence to go for those real megaloops!

A real big air kite needs the right bridle setup to handle those strong gusts and strong winds. The new North Orbit Pro has a bridle that is attached at no less than 5 points, ensuring the kite does not deform and provides extra stability. Despite the 5-strut frame, the bar pressure is very light. The light bar pressure is very nice for riders aiming for kiteloops, as you can easily pull the loop with one hand. Kiteloop board-offs become just a bit easier. The North Orbit Pro comes with 2m Pro line extensions, allowing you to extend the lines of your Navigator bar to, for example, 24m. The longer the lines, the more power, and the higher you can boost, of course!
