Kite Care 101
Woop Woop, your new kite! You probably can't wait to get out on the water for your first kite session! Of course you want your kite to last as long as possible, so we are happy to give you a number of tips for the optimal lifespan of your kite.
Make sure that your kite always goes dry into the bag. This ensures that no mold gets into your kite and this way the canopy of your kite remains fresh and in good condition.
Never leave your kite for too long on the beach and in the wind. Because when your kite starts to flap, the coating of the trailing edge can damage over time and the dacron loses its strength.
Watch out for sharp obstacles near the kite. If your kite is damaged, always get it professionally repaired immediately. In this way you avoid accidents or any further damage. You can contact Kitemana any time for professional repairs.
If you want to return your kite, make sure that the kite is new, unused and has not been rolled out. Otherwise we can't take the kite back.
If you have any questions about the kitesurfing gear, please feel free to contact us! Kitemana wishes you a lot of fun on the water!
