Which Kitemana kitesurfing sets are suitable for beginners?
All the kitesurf sets we have put together are suitable for novice kitesurfers. All kites and twintips in the various kitesurf sets are user-friendly, highly versatile, and effortlessly ride upwind, allowing you to improve your kitesurfing skills as quickly as possible. In the beginning, it's crucial to have all-around kitesurfing gear that can be easily used in various conditions. All kites in these kitesurf sets are user-friendly and quickly relaunchable.
The kitesurf sets include twintips with a comfortable flex and a light rocker for easy upwind riding. Of course, not all sets are exactly the same, but in terms of performance, they are all closely comparable. All sets are from top-tier brands, so the ultimate decision comes down to brand preference or budget. If you find it challenging to make a decision, you can always contact us for personalized advice. If you have any questions after reading this page, feel free to reach out to us via WhatsApp, email, phone, or visit our megastore.
Are the complete kitesurfing sets also suitable for advanced kitesurfers?
All kitesurf sets we have assembled are suitable for advanced kitesurfers as well. Easy relaunch, a broad depower range, and excellent upwind characteristics are features that every kitesurfer appreciates, right? All kites are user-friendly and aid in enhancing your own skill level. If you want to improve in a specific kitesurfing discipline such as big air, freestyle, or wave riding, it may be beneficial to choose a different kitesurf set. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact us, and together we can customize the best set for you.
How do I choose the best size kite?
The ideal kite size depends on the size of your set (number of kites), your weight, and the average wind speed at your local spot. Most kitesurfers eventually have a kitesurfing set of two or three kites: a small one for strong winds and a large one for the average wind speed at your home spot. It's always helpful to start with the largest kite in your intended set, as this allows you to learn kitesurfing in calmer conditions. If you want to purchase more than one kite in these sets, please contact us for a personalized offer. For most kitesurfers, this size will range between 9 and 12 square meters. For advice on the right kite size, feel free to contact us anytime.
What is my ideal twintip kiteboard size?
The size of your twintip kiteboard also depends on several factors. The main factors, much like choosing the right kite size, are your weight and kitesurfing level. It's also good to know whether you ride on a flat spot or one with a lot of chop. The heavier you are, the larger the kiteboard you need. Even as a beginner kitesurfer, it's recommended to practice with a slightly larger kiteboard. A larger kiteboard makes it easier to get going, sails more easily upwind, and feels stable. If you are more advanced, a smaller kiteboard can be more fun as it feels more playful.
To give you a rough estimate, a kitesurfer weighing 60kg would use a twintip ranging from 133 to 138, depending on their kitesurfing level. A kitesurfer weighing 90kg would use a board approximately sized between 139 and 152, again depending on their kitesurfing level. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.
What bar width do I need for my kite?
Most kitesurfing brands offer kitesurfing bars in various sizes and line lengths. The narrower (smaller) bars are designed for smaller kites of 10m and below. Small kites are inherently fast. Because the bar is narrower, when you steer, you create a less significant angle, making the kite feel less nervous. Larger kites, on the other hand, are naturally slower. To steer a large kite effectively, a wider bar is preferable. The increased width allows for easier steering, making the large kite feel less sluggish. However, not adhering to these guidelines doesn't mean the kite won't fly well. Kitesurfing brands also offer different line lengths. Longer lines provide more power, especially in light wind conditions. Shorter lines result in quicker steering, which is beneficial for wave kitesurfing, for example.

Do I also need a kitesurf pump with my kitesurf set?
With all our kitesurf sets, you can order a pump as well. On the product page, you can select a pump that corresponds to the specific kitesurfing brand and set. It's important to have the right pump for your set because not all pumps fit all kites. Different brands use different valves with different attachments.
Can I make a personal kitesurfing set at Kitemana?
If you prefer a different kite, board, or bar in your set, this is possible upon consultation. Please contact us via WhatsApp, email, phone, or visit our store. You can let us know the specific set you would like, including the kite, board, bar, etc. We can then work together to tailor the best set for you.
What else do I need to go kitesurfing?
In all the kitesurf sets offered by Kitemana, you will find a kite, bar, kiteboard, and bindings. Often, you can separately order a pump. The only things missing alongside the kitesurf set are a wetsuit and a harness. At Kitemana, we have a wide range of wetsuits and harnesses. Check out our wetsuits and harnesses here.
Is it possible to add more kites to a set?
Yes, you can add any item from our webshop to your kitesurf set to complete it. For a personalized offer, feel free to contact us anytime.
