Protection and comfort for the coldest sessions

The ION Seek Amp 5/4 Backzip 2023 Wetsuit is designed for great stretch and comfort. This year the wetsuit is made of the latest innovation: Max Flex. Max Flex has a diamond-shaped structure and is used as an inner material. The material does not absorb water and is incredibly flexible. With its 5/4mm, the wetsuit is warm enough for spring and autumn and even a large part of the winter if you combine the wetsuit with a cap. The outer lining is made of recycled nylon. The material comes from nylon waste and is just as good as conventional liners, only more environmentally friendly. The extremely lightweight and stretchy IK foam of the ION Seek Amp 5/4 has been partly replaced this year by oyster shell powder, which contributes to the durability of the wetsuit. The back and rear parts of the thighs have a Plasma Plush lining. Plasma Plush is a fabric with a high-pile structure that retains heat well and is still stretchy. In addition, Plasma Plush dries quickly, so you can wear a dry wetsuit the next session. At the front of the body, the Hot Stuff inner liner is used, which feels softer thanks to the larger loops that trap more air for extra thermal insulation. The flexible Silk Stuff inner lining has been used for the arms, which ensures maximum freedom of movement.

The seams of the ION Seek Amp 5/4 Backzip 2023 are strong and waterproof. The seams that experience the most stress are taped with Maki Tape to make the seams extra strong and waterproof. The parts of the wetsuit that receive the most stress are reinforced with Maco tape. The wetsuit has a back zip for easy putting on and taking off the wetsuit. The water barrier on the back of the zipper and the rubber strip on the inside of the neck, arms, and legs ensure that water stays outside the wetsuit as much as possible. The drainage holes prevent water from collecting in the wetsuit.
