This design acts like a mini foil to generate more downforce. That extra downforce gives your board more grip, no matter which board you ride! More grip means more stability and allows you to push off much harder. On flat water, it feels like there’s always a perfect kicker, and when you time your takeoff well against a real kicker, you won’t believe how much more height this fin can give you. At first, it might take a little getting used to the feeling of the takeoff, but once you’ve got the hang of it, you’re guaranteed to jump higher! The Orca twintip fin is sold in a set of two. You mount the fins on the heelside of your kiteboard. If you find the effect too intense, you can also choose to upgrade only the fin on your heelside takeoff side. The fins come with four M5 screws and two washers, allowing the Orca fin to be mounted on any kiteboard with a 4cm insert spacing. This includes nearly every board on the market, including North, Duotone, Cabrinha, Naish, Brunotti, Slingshot, Reedin, Harlem, Flysurfer, and Lieuwe.
